The AFC Professional Leagues Committee held a session to review results of inspection of member states and allocation of quota for AFC Champions League in 2013.

In line with the decision, three Uzbek clubs will receive right to play in the AFC Champions League in 2013. Two teams will start their participation at the tournament from group stage and one club will play in qualification round.

Pakhtakor Tashkent, winner of Uzbek football league, and Bunyodkor Tashkent, winner of Uzbekistan Cup, will kick off their campaign from group stage. Locomotiv Tashkent will participate in qualification round.

In line with the decision of the committee, Uzbekistan will have no clubs in AFC Cup.
