The patients were selected during the visit of specialists of Hospital of Inha University (South Korea) to Uzbekistan in July 2012.

The visit was organized in line with agreement on cooperation in healthcare between Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan, Hospital of Inha University and foundation “Soglom Avlod Uchun”. The visit took place on 6-13 July and the delegation included 17 South Korean specialists.

During the visit, the South Korean specialists examined 938 people, mainly children and women. Three persons were selected to undergo surgery at Hospital of Inha University.

The South Korean delegation delivered humanitarian cargo, which included medicaments and medical products for US$56,900 and they were used in examination of population.
