Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a preliminary study in Uzbekistan, the Tax Committee identified 124 taxi aggregators, the department’s press service said.
Of these, 32 services operate through mobile applications, and the remaining 92 accept orders by phone. However, at the moment 17 aggregators are not active.
Three services have already been fully integrated with the information systems of tax authorities and introduced fiscalization of travel. Among them are Yandex Go, Uklon and the local aggregator MyTaxi.
Another 24 taxi services, mostly regional, are currently integrating. And 80 aggregators applied for cooperation with tax authorities.
The committee’s report notes that online aggregators and taxi services are supported in the process of integration with tax authorities. As part of this process, the fiscalization of both cash and non-cash payments for transportation is carried out.
According to the Tax Committee, from December 2023 to February 2024, tax revenues from taxi aggregators amounted to 9.7 billion soums. In February alone, 8.9 million orders were placed - almost the same as in the previous two months combined.
