Three citizens of Uzbekistan suffered in an accident in the Russian Federation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 February 2019, at 06:45 Tashkent time, a traffic accident occurred on the Tyumen-Khanty-Mansiysk highway, in which three citizens of Uzbekistan suffered.

Two citizens of Uzbekistan were killed in the accident and one was hospitalized with varous injuries.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Shukhratbek Tashkentboev and Bakhtiyor Sayakhmedov died. Kurvonjon Mirzaakhmedov was injured.

According to the International Association for Promotion of Labor Migrants Standard Plus LLC (the host company), a Mercedes minibus with 20 passengers (all citizens of Uzbekistan), which was sent from Tobolsk to Tyumen to issue permits for employment, collided with a truck.

The remaining 17 citizens who were in the minibus were not injured and later issued their documents and returned to Tobolsk.

The International Association for the Assistance of Labor Migrants assured that it would cover all the costs associated with the accident, including the repatriation of the bodies of Uzbek citizens.

The Consulate General has established regular contacts with the involved organizations on the spot to provide practical assistance to fellow citizens.
