Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Three children left without guardianship have been returned to Uzbekistan from Türkiye. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek Consulate General in Istanbul.
On 2 October, following requests from close relatives, two 16-year-old girls, a 6-year-old girl, and an 11-year-old boy were repatriated from Türkiye to Uzbekistan.
The operation was conducted with the assistance of the Consulate General in Istanbul, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
The children have been placed under the care of responsible specialists.
The authorities urged parents not to leave children unattended abroad and to contact Uzbek diplomatic representations overseas if necessary.
