Theatre Festival of German-language amateur theatric groups to be held in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Eight Theatre Festival of German-language Amateur Theatre Groups will be held at Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan in Tashkent on 12-13 September 2015.
It is planned that four theater groups from German cultural centers from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Ferghana will present plays in German language. The groups will also participate in master classes of the German theatre specialist Joachim Burkert.
The festival will open with the play “Abdullajon” of the theatric group from Ferghana. Bukhara-based German Cultural Center will present the play “Swine-herd”.
Tashkent group will present the play “Widows”, while the group from Samarkand will display the plat “Among us”.
The event is directed at students of schools, lyceums, institutes and universities of Tashkent, who are studying German language. The festival will kick off on Saturday at 17:00 and Sunday at 16:00. The entry is free.
