The traditional festival "Element" to be held in another region for the first time

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 31 August to 2 September this year, the traditional festival of electronic music "Element" will be held in the tourist complex Tudakul, located in the Kyzyltepa district, connecting the Bukhara and Navoi regions. In this regard, before the festival, a press conference was organized for representatives of the media and the general public.

The event was attended by responsible persons of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Committee for Tourism and media representatives.

The main goal of the festival is to draw the attention of the world community to the environmental problem, in particular, to the problem of the Aral Sea, as well as to increase the flow of tourists in the field of desert tourism, which is actively developing in our country.

This festival serves the development of external and internal tourism in Uzbekistan, the unification (gathering) of talents in one place, increasing the role and importance of tourism in the economic sector, as well as increasing the creative potential of the youth of the region.

Sh. Isakulov, head of the Department of the Committee for Tourism, noted that festivals encourage talented people, providing them with a platform where they can demonstrate their creativity.

“At the same time, the economic effect for the country and the region is significant. Uzbekistan is expected to receive more than two billion dollars in tourism revenue this year. More than seven million foreign tourists are expected to visit our country. About 200 major events are planned for 2023, one of which is the Element festival. Thanks to the festival, which is traditionally held every year, we demonstrate that our country has great potential in new areas of tourism,” he stressed.

According to the responsible persons, this year the Element will become a bright and unforgettable event, foreign guests will discover an unusual new tourist area, and music lovers (music lovers) of our country will have the opportunity to enjoy new musical compositions.

Since 2017, the festival has been held at the "Cemetery of ships" in the Muynak region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This year, for the first time, the venue for this event has changed. Every year DJs, artists, scientists, producers from different parts of the world, as well as Uzbek musicians take part in the festival.

In the tourist center of Tudakul on a desert plain with an area of 15 hectares, sites are being prepared for the festival of electronic music "Elements".
