The tourism potential of Uzbekistan is being promoted at the international tourism exhibition World Travel Market in London

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 November 2022, a major international tourism exhibition World Travel Market (WTM) started in London. The exhibition is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National PR Center, the National Airline Uzbekistan Airways and a number of travel companies of the country.

Guests and participants of the international exhibition got acquainted with new tourist destinations and opportunities in Uzbekistan, which can attract tourists from Europe and far abroad.

Members of the delegation of Uzbekistan held negotiations on the development of projects to promote Uzbekistan for 2023 with representatives of CNN, Euronews and BBC. Negotiations were also held with major marketing and PR companies to promote new tourist sites, tourist centers, individual cities of Uzbekistan in the European market.

As part of WTM 2022, negotiations were held between Uzbek travel companies and foreign exhibitors on organizing visits of tourist groups to the country. At the same time, foreign journalists were informed that in 2023 Uzbekistan will host the 25th anniversary session of the General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization, which will be held in Samarkand.

The exhibition will run until 9 November.

WTM London is one of the largest and most popular international exhibitions in the field of tourism, which presents almost the entire range of services in this area. Being the second largest tourism exhibition in Europe (after Berlin), WTM has been held annually in London since 1980. Since 2009, Uzbekistan has been regularly participating in this event.
