Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Based on the results of 2023, the total income of the Humans group of companies amounted to US$41.7 million, the company’s press service reports.

Over three years, the ecosystem earned a total of US$114 million. The average annual growth rate of net revenue over the past two years was 28.4%, and the growth rate of ecosystem turnover was 285.9% over the same period.

Humans’ turnover in 2023 reached US$984.2 million, and in December 2023 the turnover was US$124.5 million.

Humans superapp combines communication services, a Humans VISA bank card, payment and transfer services, including cross-border ones, as well as a cashback program.

According to the company, almost 1.1 million customers use at least two services in the Humans super app at the same time.

The number of unique active users of the superapp per week is 723 thousand. At the same time, the fintech direction is growing at a particularly fast pace, the average annual growth rate of revenue per client in this segment was 94.4% over the past two years.

Today, the number of active telecom service clients is 1.4 million, of which more than 1 million use cellular operator service packages.

The number of clients regularly using C2C transfers and payments at the end of 2023 amounted to 801 thousand, and the average annual growth rate of fintech clients over two years was 37.4%.

The growth rate of activated Humans VISA bank cards is comparable - an average of 35.6% annually from 2021 to 2023. The net revenue of the Humans group of companies shows consistent growth: in 2021 it amounted to 247.2 billion soums, in 2022 - 364.7 billion, and in 2023 - 407.3 billion. The average annual growth rate was almost 30%.

Superapp clients are increasingly combining several services at the same time, and the share of users of fintech services in the company’s business is consistently growing. In 2021, more than 98% of 30-day active customers used telecom services exclusively, while in 2023 this proportion dropped to 87.7%. The average annual growth rate of revenue per telecom services client increased to 10%.

However, the main driver of growth was the company’s fintech services - transfers and payments through the application, as well as using the Humans VISA card. If in 2021 only 15.4% of super app clients actively used these services, then in 2023 this figure will be 40.2%. At the same time, the majority of 40% - 27.9% - simultaneously use both telecom and fintech services.

In general, Humans clients are increasingly combining several services in a super app. Thus, in 2022, 782 thousand clients used at least two types of services, and in 2023 almost 1.1 million, which corresponds to an increase of more than 40% per year.

CEO and founder of Humans Group Vladimir Dobrynin noted that the past 2023 was largely decisive for Humans. “We are convinced that our strategy of building an ecosystem is working - more and more clients are using several services at once within the superapp. Consistent growth in revenue, turnover, transactions and customer activity confirms that the Uzbek market is finally ripe for superapps and customers have begun to understand the benefits of the ecosystem. Over the past three years, Humans has managed to build a sustainable business in the region and ensure growth, despite the turbulent situation and a difficult start during the pandemic,” he added.

“I am confident that the company’s growth will continue - we will expand the range of services in our ecosystem, attract more clients and achieve even more confident dynamics of financial performance. But our mission is not limited to this. The goals of the Humans team are to increase financial literacy, develop the digital economy in the country, and eliminate the digital divide in all regions of Uzbekistan. To give residents of the republic convenient and free access to digital services - from free communications to fast delivery of goods - regardless of age, social status and place of residence,” said Vladimir Dobrynin.
