Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyar Islamov met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus Valentin Sukalo.
During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the development of multi-vector relations between the Supreme Courts of the two countries and the exchange of views on issues of effective interdepartmental cooperation in the judicial and legal sphere.
The main attention was paid to issues of cooperation in the field of justice in civil, economic, labor, family and criminal cases, as well as the exchange of information on legislation in the judicial sphere and experience in introducing information and communication technologies into the judicial system.
As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Supreme Courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus, which will become the legal basis for the further development and improvement of mutual relations and strengthen bilateral interaction.
During the visit, the Belarusian guest also got acquainted with the exhibits of the Museum and the meeting room of the Plenum of the Supreme Court.
