Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution “On measures to organize the activities of the Republican Specialized Sports School for winter sports” was adopted.

The resolution defines the main tasks of the winter sports school.

Among them - the organization of training camps in winter sports, republican and regional sports competitions, the development of cooperation with schools, clubs and centers for winter sports in foreign countries.

The Republican Winter Sports School will start its activities from the 2024/2025 academic year and is an out-of-school sports and educational institution.

When organizing a school and building sports facilities, it is necessary to have a modern indoor ice palace and an outdoor sports ground, as well as a special gym for regular winter sports (figure skating, skating, short track, hockey).

The Republican Specialized Sports School for Winter Sports was established in accordance with the Decree of the President from 1 July 2022.
