Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The number of mobile subscribers in Uzbekistan as of 1 April 2021 made up 26.95 million, the press service of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan reported.

At the same time, the number of subscribers increased by 2.63 million (10.8%) compared to the same period in 2020.

More than 24.79 million mobile subscribers are individuals. Their number increased by 1.42 million people (6.1%) in the period under review.

The indicator of the provision of the population with mobile communications is 72 units for every 100 people.

As of 1 April 2019 —21.9 million subscribers, of which individuals — 21.3 million;

As of 1 April 2020, 24.3 million subscribers, of which individuals - 23.3 million;

As of 1 April 2021 - 26.9 million subscribers, of which individuals - 24.7 million.
