Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The number of mobile subscribers in Uzbekistan reached over 24.82 million as of 1 October 2020, which is 6.9% (1.6 million subscribers) more compared to the same period of 2019, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

At the same time, as of 1 October, more than 23.63 million subscribers were individuals, which is 3.8% or 852,200 subscribers more compared to the same period of 2019.

The State Statistics Committee notes that 4.8 million subscribers are residents of Tashkent, 2.8 million - Ferghana region, 2.3 million - Samarkand region and 2.1 million - Andijan region.
