Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Netherlands national team defeated Senegal in the match of the first round of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.

Group A match ended with the score 2:0. Cody Gakpo opened the score in the 84th minute of the match, and Davy Klassen scored the second goal in the 9th minute of the added time.

In the next round, the Netherlands will play against Ecuador, and Senegal will meet with Qatar. Matches will be played on 25 November.
