Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of Vision Invest from Saudi Arabia to discuss promising projects in the field of public-private partnership.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Bobur Khojaev, representatives of the Department for Implementation of Public-Private Partnership Projects, as well as General Director for Development of Vision Invest Kapil Lalwani, Deputy General Director for Development Imtiaz Ahmed, Senior Vice President for Development of Vision Invest Kazbek Bassiev and Vision Invest specialist Lee Lawrence.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Bobur Khojaev presented foreign partners with the priority tasks of cooperation in the field of public-private partnership, emphasizing the importance of promising projects in the fields of education and healthcare.
Representatives of Vision Invest, in turn, spoke about investment opportunities and financial support for projects based on public-private partnerships, and also shared their experience of the company’s successful work abroad, including Saudi Arabia.
At the end of the meeting, the importance of establishing bilateral cooperation in the framework of promising projects was noted.
