Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution "On measures to organize the activities of Centers for the preparation for gymnastic sports" was adopted.

The Decree of the President in the cities of Nukus, Samarkand and Fergana determined the creation of regional Centers for training in gymnastic sports.

These Gymnastics Centers are specialized state sports and educational institutions, which will include a sports school specializing in gymnastic sports.

These Gymnastics centers will start their activities from the 2024/2025 academic year.

The total number of students at the Gymnastics Centers will be 132 people and include students in grades 1-11.

In the 1st grade of the Gymnastics Centers, students who are engaged in sports schools specializing in gymnastic sports, who are highly gifted and have a desire to learn, are admitted on a competitive basis.

Education of students of Gymnastics centers according to general educational programs is carried out in the schools closest to them.

Graduates of the 11th grade of the Gymnastics Centers, who have mastered the curriculum and passed the final state certification, are issued a state diploma.

This diploma gives the right to work in the acquired specialty (coach, trainer-breeder) or continue education at the next stages of education.
