The law "On Defense" to be amended

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to introduce changes and additions to the law "On Defense". A draft law has been published for public discussion.

The draft proposes to include in the law international cooperation of Uzbekistan in the military-technical sphere.

The document says that the cooperation will be carried out in accordance with the need to provide the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan with the latest weapons, military and special equipment.

According to the draft law, the strengthening of international and regional cooperation, security, stability and good neighborliness in Central Asia are the main objectives of the state defense policy of Uzbekistan.
