Thus, leading English-language Afghan newspaper The Kabul Times has published an article dedicated to this significant event in the political life of Uzbekistan, Jahon news agency reported.
The article reports that four political parties of Uzbekistan - The Democratic Party of Uzbekistan "Milly Tiklanish", Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP), People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and the Social Democratic Party "Adolat" (SDP) have conducted their plenary sessions in Tashkent.
It is noted that in these plenary sessions there were discussed issues related to the participation of these parties in the upcoming elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the nomination of candidates from each of them.
The publication stresses that "Milly Tiklanish" has nominated for the post of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Chairman of the Central Council of the party Sarvar Otamurodov, UzLiDeP - political council member of the party Shavkat Mirziyoev, the People’s Democratic Party - Chairman of the Central Council of the party Hotamdjon Ketmonov, SDP - chairman of the political council of the party Narimon Umarov.
Afghan publication concludes that, in accordance with the law "On elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan" these parties have also submitted relevant documents to the Central Election Commission to get permission to participate in the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
