The Japanese are preparing a book about the gastronomy of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The author of a number of Moriya Kan’s books from Japan, and the photographer Hiroko Hirota, have visited Uzbekistan with the aim of publishing a book about Uzbek cuisine. During the visit, Japanese guests visited the Ferghana, Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khorezm regions and got acquainted with the tourist potential of Uzbekistan.

With the support of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism, guests got acquainted with the national dishes of each region of our country. The guests were shown the gastronomic and tourist potential of Uzbekistan, its historical monuments and handicraft art.

Moriya Kana praised the Uzbek cuisine: “The dishes and sweets of Uzbekistan are varied and tasty. Uzbek cuisine is a clear testament to the hospitality of your people. It is also worth noting that each product used here is focused on improving human health. Your national gastronomy reflects not only the cuisine of the Uzbek people, but also the high culture, traditions and ancient history of Uzbekistan. ”

According to her, Kana decided to publish a book about Uzbek national cuisine, based on the great interest of the Japanese in our dishes, as well as in order to introduce the Japanese to Uzbekistan even closer. The presentation of the book and photo galleries of Japanese photographer Hiroko Hirota about Uzbek cuisine with the involvement of the general public will take place in April next year.
