The international scientific-practical conference “Tourism and education: the ways of their interaction and development” starts

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 25 November 2019, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Tourism and Education: Ways of Their Interaction and Development” started in Samarkand. The organizers of the international conference are the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism, the Institute for the Development of Tourism and the International Tourism University “Silk Road”.

Among the participants of the international conference were leading scientists and experts in the field of tourism and hospitality from countries such as Singapore, Mongolia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pakistan, Portugal, South Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Poland, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the scientific and practical conference is to create an international platform for the exchange of experience of scientific, methodological and practical recommendations on the establishment of a unified multilevel system of training and professional development of personnel in the tourism sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan that meets international requirements, as well as the development of scientific and practical recommendations on improving the mechanisms of interaction between education and business in solving these problems.

During the conference, an open discussion platform was created for representatives of business entities and ministries responsible for tourism development. Issues of legal and lawful regulation of the sphere, promotion of tourism by travel agencies and tour operators, exchange of experience in innovative services, development of programs and professional technologies.
