Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Moscow, these days the unique International Festival of Cultures “Oriental Bazaar” Tyubeteyka "takes place.

This year’s festival brought together truly talented craftsmen from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Russia, Tatarstan, Azerbaijan and Dagestan.

The Tyubeteyka Festival of Folk Applied Arts is a project on the cultural heritage of different nations, which allows you to bring together craftsmen from many countries who are ready to show their skills and tell guests about the culture and history of their people.

The main initiator of the project, our compatriot Fatima Arifjanova, expressing gratitude to partners and participants of the festival-exhibition, noted that throughout the entire event, each guest will be able to immerse herself in an oriental fairy tale, enjoy the culture and traditions of the East.

Having been to a colorful opening and walking along the stands of our neighbors, we got acquainted with the unique culture and traditions of the peoples, which are united by a single color of the magical East. But he is truly beautiful. Admired by the bright stands of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, enjoying various oriental events and the incomparable saffron ice-cream prepared by the master confectioner and producer of Italian ice-cream in Moscow, by the way also from Uzbekistan, we were very pleased that the Muscovites and guests of the festival were very interested to our culture.

Bukhara carpets, Rishtan and Gijduvan ceramics, Chust knives, Shakhrisabz embroidery and many other unique products of Uzbek folk art literally fascinate Moscow visitors with their authenticity, grace and richness of colors.

The stand of Karakalpakstan is especially attractive, here the guests were delighted with the unique national costumes and the ancient epos of the Karakalpak people, described by the participants from Karakalpakstan.

Having visited the booth, Gulnaz Kuramshina, a blogger from Bashkortostan, showed live the national costumes of the Karakalpak people to her subscribers.

“I myself am fond of the national clothes of my people, but at the same time I am very interested in costumes, patterns and fabrics of neighboring countries, since we have so much in common and therefore it is very interesting to observe this beauty. The program of events is expected to be very eventful. For the first time, at the initiative of the State Committee for Tourism, the largest lagman in the world weighing 700 kg will be prepared. Ten cooks under the leadership of the famous Uzbek chef Hakim Ganiev will do culinary magic and set Russia’s record for the largest lagman.

In the days of the festival, we will find many bewitching performances with the participation of creative teams from all participating countries.

The event will end with a raffle of two passes to Uzbekistan.
