Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the fifty-sixth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Law “On the Establishment of the Honorary Title “Deserved Entrepreneur of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was reviewed and approved.

This Law envisages the conferral of the honorary title to entrepreneurs who have significant experience in business, demonstrate advanced and proactive qualities, and create new, high-profit areas of activity.

Special attention was given to their contribution to the development of Uzbekistan's economy, improving the well-being of the population, implementing innovations, establishing modern production capacities, enhancing export potential, attracting investments, and creating new jobs. The Law also highlights the importance of social activity and cooperation with government bodies.

With the adoption of this Law, amendments and additions will be made to the laws "On the Establishment of Honorary Titles of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "On State Awards."

Senators noted that the Law will encourage entrepreneurs who achieve high results and contribute to the country's economic development and job creation.
