The heads of NES Uzbekistan and the Rosseti Group discuss the training of qualified personnel for the energy sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Board of JSC National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan Dadajon Isakulov and General Director of PJSC Rosseti Andrey Ryumin discussed current issues of cooperation and the implementation of joint educational projects based on training centers of the Russian network complex.

The meeting took place within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Andrey Ryumin noted that Russia and Uzbekistan are consistently developing scientific and educational cooperation, especially in the power grid complex, where great opportunities exist. He emphasized that contacts have already been established with NES of Uzbekistan and an active exchange of experience is taking place, including the introduction of advanced technological solutions.

He added that there are also plans to develop cooperation in the field of training qualified personnel and the implementation of other joint programs important for quality power supply to consumers and strengthening bilateral relations.

Dadajon Isakulov noted that in recent years the companies have strengthened the historically existing ties between the energy sector of Russia and Uzbekistan. He highly appreciated the training grounds created by the Rosseti Group, which allow training specialists to work on modern equipment, as well as the advanced solutions demonstrated to the delegation of NES of Uzbekistan, including the RS-20 network management software package.

Isakulov emphasized that the energy systems of both countries are built on similar principles, and specialists understand each other well, which allows us to consider the implementation of digital technologies in the production sector as one of the areas of cooperation.

This was the second meeting of company leaders in 2024. In April, a delegation of the Rosseti Group led by Andrey Ryumin visited Uzbekistan, where they discussed the capabilities of the Intelligent Laboratory of Digital Networks (ILDL), opened by Rosseti in St. Petersburg, issues of equipment operation, personnel training and the implementation of digital systems and platform solutions.

During the current trip to Russia, representatives of NES Uzbekistan got acquainted with the work of the ILCS, the Rosseti Lenenergo Grid Management Center, highly automated 110 kV and 330 kV substations, and also visited the training ground in the Leningrad region, which is one of the most modern educational centers in the Russian energy sector.
