Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Sports Development with the head of the Children of Asia International Committee. It was attended by the leaders of both Organizations Adkham Ikramov and Vladimir Maksimov, as well as the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee Oybek Kasimov.

At the meeting, Vladimir Maksimov highly appreciated the participation of the delegation of Uzbekistan in the VII International Sports Games "Children of Asia" in Vladivostok (Russian Federation). In addition, he invited domestic athletes to the II Winter Sports Games "Children of Asia", which will be held in February next year in Russian Kemerovo.

In turn, Adkham Ikramov thanked the foreign guest for the invitation and, of course, expressed his readiness to take part in these Games. At the same time, he emphasized that the competitions in Vladivostok were held at a high organizational level.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached on bringing cooperation between the parties to a new level, developing a number of sports.

At the VII International Sports Games "Children of Asia", held from 27 July to 8 August, the Uzbek delegation took 2nd place in the team event, winning a total of 114 medals (41 gold, 28 silver and 45 bronze).
