Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Holding the Biennale in Bukhara has important goals for our country - the inclusion of Uzbekistan in the international art community and enhancing the cultural and historical image of the country in the world. This was announced by the head of the sector of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva.

“Thanks to the holding of the Biennale, it will be possible for local craftsmen and artists to interact with international colleagues. This will open up an opportunity for the exchange of experience between specialists and will give a vector in unlocking the potential of traditional handicrafts in a modern context,” S. Mirziyoyeva noted in her address.

“Ahead is work on the implementation of this project. I am sure that the holding of the first Biennial in Bukhara will attract the international community and will contribute to the further study of the city by both specialists and tourists,” S. Mirziyoyeva concluded.
