Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 March, an exhibition entitled “Heritage in Stitches: A Journey through Embroidery and Sewing Traditions of Uzbekistan” starts in Baku.

The exhibition will include more than 148 objects of decorative and applied art from the museum collection of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition pays main attention to the cultural and historical heritage and folk costume of Uzbekistan at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries.

As part of this event, on 16 and 17 March 2024, a ballet performance entitled “Lazgi” will be presented on the stage of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater in Baku. Dance of soul and love."

The exhibition will be available to visitors from 17 March to 1 July 2024 at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.
