Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Information has spread on social media that stores in Tashkent have started selling an energy drink with a hemp flavor and "unusual" packaging artwork.

The Committee for Sanitary Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health of Uzbekistan stated that the 330-milliliter energy drink SoStoned is produced in the Czech Republic and imported into Uzbekistan by the company ALL TRADE AT.

The committee emphasized that after sanitary-hygienic, bacteriological, parasitological, and radiological examinations, a sanitary-epidemiological conclusion was issued for the imported batch.

The packaging of the energy drink SoStoned indicates that it contains water, sugar, citric acid, sodium citrate, taurine, caffeine, hemp flavoring, caramel colorant, vitamins B2, B6, B12, and pantothenic acid.

According to laboratory research, no toxic or harmful substances for human health were found in the energy drink SoStoned.

For each batch of imported product, a sanitary-epidemiological conclusion is issued in accordance with the regulations in Uzbekistan.

The committee noted that the drink has been imported into Uzbekistan since November 2023, and to date, there have been no reports or statements about the product being of poor quality or causing poisoning due to its consumption.
