Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriev took part in the 287th meeting of permanent representatives of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Dunyo news agency reported.

The parties discussed the document “Prospects 2025” of the ECO and the participation of the organization’s delegation in the 12th meeting of the ministers of tourism of the member countries, which will be held in Khiva from May 31 to June 2.

ECO Secretary General Khusraw Noziri thanked for the invitation to take part in this meeting and confirmed his participation in it.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan informed the audience about the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, emphasizing the relevance of the implementation of the initiatives put forward by the leader of our country within the framework of the ECO.

Issues of developing interregional and multilateral cooperation and implementing joint measures within the organization were also discussed.
