The deadline for payment by individuals of the first half of the accrued amounts of property and land taxes expires on 15 April

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Payment of property tax and land tax for the current year is made in equal installments until April 15 and October 15.

In Uzbekistan, as of April 2022, among individuals:

7,528,967 property tax payers, 58,553 more than in 2021;

6,620,449 land tax payers, 53,824 people more than in 2021.

1,433,842 citizens were granted property tax benefits, of which 551,418 people (7.3%) are completely exempt from tax.

Land tax benefits are provided to 167,677 (2.5%) individuals. All of them are completely tax exempt.

As a result, in 2022:

for property tax:

up to 1 size of basic estimated value (BEV) 6,369,990 taxpayers were charged (84.6%). The total amount is 764.3 billion soums;

571,526 taxpayers (7.6%) were charged from 1 to 5 sizes of BEV. The total amount is 270.1 billion soums;

more than 5 sizes of BEV were accrued to 36,033 taxpayers (0.5%). The total amount is 96.3 billion soums;

on land tax;

4,096,716 payers (61.9%) were charged up to 1 size of BEV. The total amount is 622.8 billion soums;

2,204,897 taxpayers (33.3%) were accrued from 1 to 5 sizes of BEV. The total amount is 894.8 billion soums;

more than 5 sizes of BEV were accrued to 151,159 taxpayers (2.3%). The total amount is 825.3 billion soums.
