The Central Bank of Uzbekistan: The Average Auto Loan Interest Rate Reaches 23.7% per Annum
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The average interest rate on auto loans in Uzbekistan has reached 23.7% per annum, according to the Central Bank.
As of 12 August 2025, the average interest rate on microloans offered by commercial banks stood at 36.3% per annum.
Among auto loans, the most favorable conditions are offered by Ipoteka Bank at 21.2% per annum, followed by Orient Finance Bank with 21.8%, and Asia Alliance Bank with 21.9%.
The highest rates were recorded at Hamkor Bank (28%), Infinbank (28%), and Madad Invest Bank (27.9%).
In the microloan segment, the lowest interest rate was noted at Alokabank at 20.6% per annum. The National Bank of Uzbekistan offers 26%, and Orient Finance Bank 26.6%.
The highest cost of microloans was observed at TBC Bank, where the average rate reaches 41.9% per annum.
The regulator clarified that the calculations took into account not only market conditions but also loans provided under preferential programs for businesses, as well as special terms aimed at supporting specific sectors of the economy.
