Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A training seminar on the topic "Information security in the financial sector" was held at the Central Bank together with Trend Micro. 

The event noted the growing relevance of information and cyber security today, highlighted the work being done in this direction, the existing problems and the need to protect the security of platforms in the field of information technology.

The training seminar also provided information on ensuring cybersecurity in the field of banking and payment systems, accelerating the automation of security systems, the benefits of anti-virus systems, presentations were made on such topics as "Endpoint protection technologies", "A new look at cybersecurity from the point of business perspective."

As a result of the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Trend Micro. 

This document serves as an important basis for organizing interaction in the field of banking and payment systems on countering cyber attacks and improving the level of information security of organizations.
