The Banker named the Bank Credit Standard as the best bank in Uzbekistan for the second time and the Uzbekbank said that this is great acknowledgment both for clients and employees.
The awarding ceremony was held in London on 30 November 2011 and over 400 representatives of banks from 140 countries participated at the event.
At determining winners, The Banker compares results of the banks’ activities, growth and others figures for 2010. The magazine also considers information on the bank’s strategic development, technologic development, competitive advantages, new services, etc.
The Banker, which has been part of Financial Times since 1926, annually publishes rating of the best banks from 150 countries of the world. The awards are conferred after survey of experts in banking and financial sector.
Credit Standard open joint stock commercial bank was founded on 16 August 2003 with the charter capital of 1.3 billion soums. Headquarters of the bank is located in Tashkent.
As of 1 September 2011, the assets of the bank made up 204.7 billion soums and the capital makes up 45.9 billion soums. Credit Standard Bank is medium-size bank.
