Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Kakhramon Shakirov completed his diplomatic mission in Singapore and Australia, Dunyo news agency reported.
On the eve of his return to Tashkent, the Ambassador held a number of meetings in ministries and departments of Singapore. At them, the parties highly appreciated the current state and prospects of Uzbek-Singapore relations. It was emphasized that the fruitful results of the exchange of high-level visits in January and May 2023 made it possible to bring bilateral cooperation to a new level in almost all areas of partnership.
The 53-year-old graduate of Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan) and the Academy of State and Public Construction under the President of Uzbekistan was accredited as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Singapore (2018–2024) and part-time in Australia (2022–2024) with a residence in the city Singapore.
After returning, Kakhramon Shakirov began working in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the head of the department.
