Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The acceptance of applications for the Competition for the development of the symbol of the national currency "Sum Symbol" has been completed.
Applications and works submitted after 31 March 2022 will not be allowed to participate in the Competition.
As of 31 March, over 16,000 applications have been received for the Competition. To evaluate the works of the Competition, a Competition Jury will be formed consisting of representatives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Institute of Art and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod and the Agency for Intellectual Property.
Winners will be determined in 2 stages:
Stage 1: qualifying stage - at the qualifying stage, the Organizing Committee of the Competition checks the works for compliance with the technical requirements and makes proposals to the members of the Competitive Jury for worthy works for consideration at the final stage.
Stage 2: final stage - the competition will be evaluated by the Competition Jury from April 1 to 30, 2022, and the best work for the "Sum Symbol" project will be checked for counterfeit by the Intellectual Property Agency. The final selection of winners will be announced in May.
