Termiz to host kurash tournament dedicated to the memory of Al-Khakim at Termiziy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Termiz will host XIII international tournament dedicated to the memory of Al-Khakim at Termiziy for the prizes of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 26 to 29 May.

Since 1993 this prestigious tournament is regularly held every two years.

Current tournament continuing traditions of the previous games will be held among the 73 kg, 90 kg and heavy weight holders.

The overall prize fund of the tournament is USD 56 000, whereas the winner in the heavy weight will get USD 25 000.

Other winners in heavy weight category will have the prize of USD 10 000 and USD 5 000 for the second and third places respectively. Winners in other weight categories also will receive their money prizes.

The tournament this year is expecting 150 practitioners from 40 countries.
