Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sanjar Fayziev, a tennis player from Uzbekistan, was disqualified for participating in match-fixing. This was announced by the International Tennis Anti-Match Fixing Agency (ITIA).
Sanjar Fayziev was found guilty of five charges of match fixing. He was disqualified for 3.5 years and fined for US$15,000.
These sanctions came into force from 25 July 2023. During the period of disqualification, Sanjar Fayziev is prohibited from participating in matches, training or attending any tennis events.
