Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The men’s semifinals at the Asian Championship concluded today.
Throughout the day, 11 Uzbek boxers entered the ring for a chance to reach the final, and only Jahongir Zokirov, unfortunately, missed out, winning the bronze medal.
The remaining 10 representatives from Uzbekistan advanced to the final.
Both the men’s and women’s teams, as well as the overall Uzbek team, demonstrated their leadership in the tournament by making the most finals. Following us is the Kazakh team, with 9 boxers in the final.
The women’s final will take place on 10 December, and the men’s final on 11 December.
