TBC Uzbekistan Enters CNBC’s Global Ranking of Fintech Leaders

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The digital banking ecosystem TBC Uzbekistan has been included in CNBC’s global list of leading fintech companies in the fully digital bank (neobank) category, becoming the first organization from Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian region to be featured in this prestigious ranking.

Jointly compiled by CNBC and the analytics platform Statista, the ranking of the world’s top fintech companies serves as a key benchmark in the industry. It is based on a comprehensive evaluation of a wide range of indicators, including revenue volume, profitability, customer base, growth dynamics of lending and deposit portfolios, number of transactions, market share, team size, and other crucial metrics.

TBC Uzbekistan’s inclusion in the list reflects the company’s impressive growth trajectory, strong profitability, and steady leadership in Uzbekistan’s digital financial services market.

Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, commented: “It is a great honor for us to become the first company from Uzbekistan and Central Asia to be featured in the 2025 global ranking of fintech leaders. This recognition affirms the effectiveness of our strategy, built on sustainable profitable growth and ongoing innovation. Uzbekistan is one of the most promising markets for digital financial services in the world, and we are proud to be setting new standards and raising the bar for the entire industry here.

The CNBC ranking is not only a reflection of TBC’s achievements but also a testament to the rapid progress of Uzbekistan’s financial sector. At the same time, for us, this is just the beginning — ahead lies the scaling of our ecosystem and the launch of new products.”

TBC Uzbekistan is actively developing a universal digital ecosystem, continually expanding its range of solutions across both financial and lifestyle segments. Over the past year, the company has launched and scaled several key products, including the Salom Card debit card for everyday payments, the Osmon Card credit card, the TBC Business digital platform for small and medium-sized enterprises with financing options, as well as its own insurance company, TBC Sug‘urta.

A major strategic milestone came in June 2025, when TBC Uzbekistan acquired a controlling stake in BILLZ, the leading SaaS provider for retail automation in Uzbekistan.

This acquisition will strengthen TBC Uzbekistan’s position in the critically important small and medium business segment, unlocking new opportunities for further growth and expansion.
