Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A meeting with the leadership of the Al Ain zoo (United Arab Emirates) and representatives of Falcon Hunting Solutions (Uzbekistan) was held at the Tashkent city administration.

The participants of the event considered the issue of the possible participation of specialists from the UAE zoo, taking into account existing experience, in the implementation of the Tashkent Zoo Development Concept for 2016-2020, approved by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As the deputy khokim of the city of Tashkent Elbek Shukurov noted during the conversation, given the extensive experience in this field accumulated in the Al Ain zoo, the administration of the capital would be glad to partner with the UAE experts.

In the future, the Tashkent Zoo will become not only a place for the demonstration of animals, but also a recreation center, scientific research with a significant increase in the collection, including rare and exotic species of flora and fauna.

As Mark Kreitning, Al-Ain Zoo Manager, said at the meeting, scientific work is one of the strengths of their work. On their basis, a modern scientific complex, which specializes in veterinary science, is established and operates in Al Ain.

Taking into account possible cooperation, the parties plan to sign a memorandum, which will serve the effective implementation of joint projects.

A delegation of Uzbekistan visited the Al Ain Zoo to learn about its experience in February 2019.

The territory of Al-Ain is a fenced complex with a total area of 900 hectares, consisting of a visit to the center, a museum of nature and ethnography, a veterinary clinic, a quarantine zone for temporary housing of animals under treatment, equipped demonstration enclosures, facilities for maintenance of technical equipment used in Zoo, as well as a special area (40 hectares.) intended for safari tours and demonstration of semi-free keeping of rare species of animals.
