The roundtable is organized within the project “Healthy Mother – Healthy Children” and aimed at improving activities and works of all project partners on raising awareness of population on reproductive health and healthy lifestyle, discussions actual problems, etc.

It is expected that the event will be attended by representatives of Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, its divisions, Senate and Legislative Chamber, international organizations, NGOs and others.

SISF is an initiator of many social projects in Uzbekistan. The Fund has been implementing project “Healthy Mother – Healthy Children” since 2007. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan and the UNFPA, as well as NGOs.

The project is aimed at raising knowledge of teenage girls on rational nutrition, preventing anemia, hygiene, preparing pregnant women to birth and children care.

It is implemented in all 14 regions of Uzbekistan, including Karakalpakstan. In last five years, number of the project beneficiaries exceeded 1.229 million people.
