Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 to 19 March, the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi will host the International Ballet Festival, organized by the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan.
As part of its large-scale program, the audience will be presented with famous productions from different countries and ballet schools, including the ballet "The Jungle Book in a new performance" directed by Akram Khan (Great Britain), Maurice Béjart's Ballet in Lausanne (Switzerland), performances of "The Pygmalion Effect" and "Eugene Onegin" staged by the Boris Eifman Ballet Theater (Russia), and the national ballet "Lazgi - Dance of Soul and Love" (Uzbekistan).
