Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 October, the capital will host an international scientific and practical conference titled: "New Central Asia: Challenges and Opportunities in the Era of Global Transformation."
The event is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in partnership with the International Institute of Central Asia, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation of Germany.
Leaders and experts from leading analytical centers in Central Asia, the CIS, the EU, China, India, Turkey, Pakistan, Malaysia, and other countries will participate in the conference. More than 40 foreign delegates from 25 countries are expected to attend.
The agenda includes discussions on the state and prospects of regional cooperation, analysis of international experience in this field, and an exchange of views on the role of Central Asia in the modern global economic system, as well as the importance of the region’s cultural and civilizational heritage in strengthening dialogue and trust between states.
