Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Tashkent, the demolition of advertising structures installed in violation of regulations has commenced, according to the press service of the city's khokimiyat.
The measures were taken in response to complaints from residents concerned about the disorderly placement of advertisements. All advertising structures must comply with a unified design code developed by the Department of Digital Development and approved by the City Council of People's Deputies.
The new code regulates parameters such as color, size, and placement of advertisements to minimize visual clutter and improve the overall aesthetic appearance of the city.
The khokimiyat has warned the owners of advertising structures to bring them in line with the established standards and legalize their advertisements.
