According to the Embassy of Russia in Tashkent, Russian Ambassador Vladimir Tyurdenev, poets and writers of Uzbekistan, representatives of public organizations attended the event.

Tyurdenev said that Pushkin was genius person and a great writer. His works reflect all richness, power and flexibility of Russian language. He created works, which contributed to spiritual development of the Russian world.

He also underlined that works of Pushkin impacted to development of many Uzbek poets and specialists on Russian language and literature.
