The seminar was organized by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Banking Association and Uzbekistan’s Women Committee in cooperation with German Savings Banks Finance Group (Finanzgruppe).

Representatives of Finanzgruppe, commercial banks, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Mahalla Foundation, businesses and others participated at the seminar.

The participants considered a role of deposits in economy, mobilization of resources to the deposits, work of financial institutions to save resources, organization of family budget, financial services for various groups of population, etc.

They also exchanged opinion on launching new deposit products for population, supporting small and private businesses, improving skills of employees of the financial institutions.
