State Committee of Uzbekistan on Nature Protection and United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) organized the seminar, which was attended by specialists of ministries and departments, scientific-research institutes, industrial enterprises and international organizations.

At the meeting, it was noted that Uzbekistan carries out huge work on introduction of clean development mechanism and efficient technologies to decrease negative impact to environment in production process.

Chemical products are widely used in industry and agriculture sector of Uzbekistan and the special attention is paid to adhere to legislation on preventing negative impact to nature and people health in process of production and transportation of chemical products.

State Committee of Uzbekistan on Nature Protection in cooperation with organizations and industrial enterprises work on implementation of several projects directed at improving chemical products management, introduction of international mechanisms, etc.

At the seminar, the participants considered issues on management of chemical goods, ensure environment security, introduction of efficient mechanisms in this direction.
