The exhibition was organized by the Russian Ethnographic Museum with support and in cooperation with the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Tashkent.
The photo exhibition introduces everyday and festive life of traditional family of the early twentieth century of Slavic and Finno-Ugric peoples, peoples of the Volga region, Siberia, Caucasus and Central Asia.
Each nation has own a unique and own traditions. The exhibition presented images, which captured various moments of social, cultural, political and common life of people.
The photo exhibition consists of two parts: facsimile photographs, framed in a passepartout, and a film in which works of famous TASS photographers.
