Representatives of ministers and departments, enterprises and organizations, operating in energy and fuel supply, producers of technological equipment of alternative energy, scholars and experts participated at the roundtable.
In line with the presidential decree “On measures on further development of alternative sources of energy” from 1 March 2013, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with interested state bodies conduct work on development of alternative sources of energy and fuel.
This work envisages development of normative-legal acts, including technical regulation and national standards, regulating introduction of new sources of energy and fuel, study on advanced technologies on use of new technologies, etc. It is planned to develop demonstrative platforms to show opportunities of new technologies in the area.
During the roundtable it was noted that it is necessary to develop affordable technologies on use of alternative sources of energy for small and private businesses.
Within the roundtable, the participants discussed normative-technical provision and organization works on development of bio gas technologies, accrued experience in this area, modern technologies and implementation of investment projects.
