Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Today, the international Grand Slam judo tournament started in the capital’s sports complex "Humo Arena".

As part of the first day of the competition, men climbed on the tatami in the weight categories -60, -66 kg and women -48, -52, -57 kg.

It was unexpected for us that the representative of Uzbekistan Sharofiddin Lutfillaev (-60 kg) who is one of the leaders of the national team was defeated. Our judoka dominated thanks to Vasari, however, his opponent Artsiom Kolasau (Belarus) still defeated Lutfillaev by using a painful technique.

Also, Zukhrahon Mamurjonova and Sita Kadamboeva (-52 kg) lost, and Dilshodbek Baratov, Kemran Nurillaev (-60 kg), Dilshodbek Yuldoshev (-66 kg), Diyora Keldiyorova (-52 kg) successfully started and will continue their participation.
