Tashkent and Tallinn Discuss Digital Cooperation in Governance and Education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A working visit by the Tashkent delegation to Tallinn has been completed, during which the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in digital governance and education.

As part of the visit, the delegation met at the Tallinn City Hall with Deputy Mayor Kristjan Järvan, representatives of the Education Department, and officials responsible for strategic development. The parties discussed experience sharing and joint project implementation.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the e-Estonia Briefing Centre, where information was presented on the digitalization of public services and the development of social sectors. Discussions focused on innovation processes, the role of education, and youth engagement.

Special attention was given to the activities of Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), including its Artificial Intelligence Competence Center and educational programs in digital governance. The sides explored prospects for cooperation between educational institutions, including faculty exchanges and joint research initiatives.

Following the visit, the parties reached an agreement to further develop cooperation and prepare a memorandum of understanding.

The delegation also participated in the international conference “EdTech Testbeds: Sharing International Experience and Discussing Cross-Border Cooperation,” where experts from Finland, Germany, Estonia, and other countries presented practical experience in educational technologies.
